Pastor – Valeriu Brâncovan

In 1986 he was ordained as deacon in “Filadelfia” Church in Timisoara, Romania. In 1988 he was ordained as presbyter in “Elim” Church in Timisoara, Romania where he was also the senior pastor of that Church in the first half of 1990. Between 1992 and 1995 he was the pastor at “Agape” Church in Timisoara, Romania. Since 1996 he has been the pastor of “Victory Romanian Christian Center in Sacramento”, California.

After 1977 he was one of the founders of the discipleship program in Romania, under the guidance of “Navigators” and B.E.E (Bible Education by Extension).

Current activities outside of church: broadcasting within Steve Boros Ministries T.V. production, teaching activities at Romanian Centers of Theological Education throughout the U.S.A, conducting seminars for families and pastoral education.


Presbyter – Daniel Căta

Married to Eleonora Căta blessed with a family of seven (7) children; Jason, Andy, Michael, Johnny, Danny, Matthew and Sara.

He is one of the founding members of Victory Romanian Christian Center.

In April 2003 he was ordained as deacon of Victory Romanian Christian Center; he is the leader of the Praise and Worship team, and he is much involved in the preaching activity.

In November 2008 he was ordained as presbyter.


Presbyter – Samuel Toplean

Married with Daniela Toplean blessed with a family of three (3) children; Julia, Joshua and Jennifer.

He is one of the founding members of Victory Romanian Christian Center.

In April 2003 he was ordained as deacon of Victory Romanian Christian Center; currently he is the treasurer of the Church and supervises the building development program. He also takes care of prayer activity of our Church.

In November 2008 he was ordained as presbyter.


History

Inauguration of “Victory Romanian Christian Center”: April 1995, Church Board members: John Stoian-deacon, Alexandru Hotea-deacon, Samuel Toplean, Daniel Cata, Ion Nicorici. Opened through Assemblies of God.

In March 1996 the Brancovan family arrived in U.S.A. and brother Valeriu Brancovan was installed as pastor of Victory Romania Church . The following new board of members was elected: Alexandru Hotea-deacon, Samuel Toplean, Daniel Căta, Liviu Moscu.

After six (6) months as a church we purchased our first property located on Connie Dr., Sacramento. In June 2001 we relocated to Gibbons Dr., Carmichael. In March 2005 we relocated to our current location on Walnut Ave, Sacramento.

Throughout the years our church has offered four (4) baptisms in water, baptizing a total of 30 candidates.

In April 2003 Samuel Toplean and Daniel Căta were ordained as deacons and Alexandru Hotea as presbyters.

In November 30, 2008 Samuel Toplean and Daniel Căta were ordained as presbyters.
